Irene Korolczuk, Therapist
Irene’s work at Living Waters includes working with adults, teens and children who present with an array of concerns including generalized anxiety, depression, abuse, bereavement, trauma and addictions. Her approach is client-centered providing a warm, safe, non- judgmental environment utilizing modalities including psycho education, cognitive behavior therapy and EMDR. All of Irene’s work with clients emphasizes the healing power of God during life’s most challenging times.
Lucon Rigaud, M.A., M.Div, M.S.Ed, CMHC
Lucon Rigaud holds a Master of Science in Education with a concentration in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from a CACREP-accredited program from St. John’s University in Queens, New York. He is currently a member of the American Mental Health Association (AMCHA), and Chi Sigma Tau Upsilon Chapter at St. John’s (CSI).
Before entering into the clinical field, Lucon served at various positions as Youth Coordinator for Deanery Seven of the Diocese of Brooklyn, which included Youth Coordinator of St. Jerome Parish, and school Chaplain at St. Nicholas parish. He also provided spiritual guidance to parishioners who struggled with interpersonal problems related to religious or spiritual issues for over the past seven years.
Lucon’s training has equipped him to help clients from multi-cultural backgrounds, overcome adversity, and become more productive citizens. He uses an integrated approach to build trust and help clients take ownership of their struggles. His active listening, empathy, and pastoral care for others are impelling forces which contribute to his professionalism.
Margo Posillico Messina, LCSW-R
Ms. Messina has 27 years experience as a practicing psychotherapist. Margo worked at a children’s mental health agency for 20 years as a Clinician, Supervisor, and Program Coordinator for an After School Program for Youth at Risk and Family Advocate Program. She also did volunteer work at her local parish as a Pre Cana (Marriage Preparation) couple and Youth Group Leader. She enjoys working with children/adolescents and families both in individual and group settings.
Margo believes in the interconnectedness of the mind-body and spirit. With empathy, kindness and humor she “walks with her client” in their journey to achieve a balance in all stages of the Life Cycle. Her faith is at the core of her interactions both clinically and in who she is as a human being.
