Benefactors = Blessings

Benefactors are a special part of any organization, a blessing to all. Benefactors hold many roles – Angels, Contributors, Givers, of more than simply funds. They give time, talent, treasure, but also their faith in the cause to which they contribute. Our benefactors believe in us, and in our works, and in those we serve.

Benefactors “pay  it forward,” continuing our mission shoulder to shoulder with us. They emulate Christ in loving us and offering themselves, and to some extent sacrificing for us. Every day, each of us have opportunities to give to others, to be benefactors. Sometimes it is a simple act, like letting someone ahead of you in a checkout lane. Sometimes it is more radical, ongoing, such as a mission trip to a third world country, or working in a ministry dedicated to building up others, either in spirit or with financial support.

Paying it forward, can be a small act of kindness or a grand one. At Living Waters NGT we are dedicated to building up others when they are in need, regardless of circumstances. It can bring out the best in the giver and the recipients, through offering guidance, coaching, and healing. At its core, it is the desire to build up hope.

Recently Living Waters – Never Go Thirsty has been the recipient of a generous donation of $15,000. These funds are being used to assist the “working poor” with their emotional needs to ease their conditions. The benefactors gave out of LOVE, a true corporal work of mercy.

The funds enabled qualified and merciful mental health guides to attend to the recipients of their care, and in turn all lives were changed by this generosity. Is this not what life is about?

Our grateful prayers go out to those who contribute to Never Go Thirsty. May all who drink from this well of kindness and care never go thirsty.
